By commencing and / or completing the Inter-View Survey, you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Background to the agreement
1.1. The rights that you have to complete the survey are set out in this Agreement. You may only complete the survey if you agree to the terms of this agreement.
1.2. If you do not agree, or do not have authority to enter into this Agreement, you may not complete the survey.
2. Survey participation
2.1 The survey is open to anyone who is directly involved with Business / IT project delivery, such as: Business Executives & Project Stakeholders, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, Testers, Change Managers and IT Operations.
2.2 Only one response per person is allowed.
2.3 No personal details provided will be shared.
2.4 No individually identifiable data will be published (see 2.5), unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
2.5 Respondents may be contacted to consent to their prediction being published in either the Inter-View Report or on the Inter-View website.
2.6 The results will be published in the annual Inter-View Report, once completed, and freely available for all to download from the Inter-View website.
3. Competition entry
3.1 Respondents must opt in to be entered into a prize draw.
3.2 The competition is open to anyone (see 3.3, 5.2 and 5.3) who completes the Inter-View Survey by 23:45 on 26 May 2017.
3.3 Entrants must not be IIBA-SA Board Members or anyone connected directly with the draw.
3.4 Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase necessary.
3.5 Neither Inter-View, nor its promoters, will be held responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
4. Competition prize
4.1 The winner of the draw will receive entry to the Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa taking place in the survey year.
4.2 The prize will be a two (2) day conference pass, excluding pre-conference workshops.
4.3 Travel and accommodation costs will not be provided.
4.4 All prizes are subject to availability. Should the conference not run for any reason no alternative prize will be provided.
4.5 The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.
5. Prize draw
5.1 The winner will be drawn at random, from qualifying entrants.
5.2 The winner must have spent the majority of the previous twelve months (at the time of completion) practicing in the field of Business Analysis, either as a Business Analyst or an accepted IIBA specialisation.
5.3 The prize will only be distributed to an individual who has never attended the BA Summit Southern Africa conference previously.
5.4 Should the winner be unable to attend the BA Summit Southern Africa conference, a new winner shall be drawn and no alternative prize will be provided.
5.5 The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5.6 The name of the winner will be published on the Inter-View website.
6. Winners commitment
6.1 The competition winner must attend the Business Analysis Summit Conference.
6.2.The competition winner shall engage in the production of a written article, to be published on the BCMG website, regarding their opportunity to attend the BA Summit.
6.3.Following attendance of the BA Summit, the competition winner shall engage in the production of a written article, to be published on the BCMG website,sharing their conference story.
7. Media and marketing
7.1 Respondents and companies may be contacted to contribute towards articles, case studies, press releases and other industry publication regarding their story.
7.2 Inter-View and its sponsors may use the respondents collective results, content, endorsements, testimonials and photographs for general media advertising and marketing. However, we will never publish individual survey results.
7.3 You agree that Inter-View and its sponsors may publish material, together with your name, role and company (including images and logos), in the printed report and on this website [and on any successor platforms – print and digital – that we may operate from time to time], on such page and in such position as we may determine in our sole discretion.
7.4 You agree that we may edit content, endorsements and testimonials, and publish edited or partial versions of such. However, we will never edit a testimonial in such a way as to create a misleading impression of your views.
7.5 Delegates and companies may opt out at any time in writing.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Neither party will be liable for any delay in performing or any failure to perform any obligations under this Agreement due to any cause beyond their reasonable control, including but without being limited to any of the following: strikes, lock outs or other industrial action, sabotage, terrorism, civil commotion, riot, invasion, war, threat of or preparation for war, fire, explosion, failure of electrical supply, storm, flood, subsidence, epidemic or other natural physical disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; any act or policy of any state or government or other authority having jurisdiction over either party, sanctions, boycott or embargo.
